The busiest season for Pinterest is upon us. Chances are if you are a blogger you are blogging about topics such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, Fall, Black Friday, Christmas, New Years, and many more. If you don’t know by now that with the right pin can drive large amounts of traffic to you site, well you are missing out on a lot of traffic. It can be a pin from last year or years ago.
I have noticed it with my Halloween Planner Stickers post. I created this post last year and the pinned it last year. For most of the year it didn’t do very much at all but over the summer I started to notice traffic trickling in and now it consistently brings in the most traffic everyday. Traffic I had never seen before or saw last year. Read on to find out how you too can pin your way to more traffic this holiday season. (more…)

HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN GLITTER TEXT PRINTABLE USING PICMONKEY
For today’s post I thought I would give you a glimpse into how I have been learning how to create your own glitter text printable using PicMonkey. I do not come from a graphic design background and so there may be way better ways, more efficient ways, easier ways to create printables. Shake up my brain a bit if you will.

I don’t blame them though, I too, start to feel antsy and yearn for a more leisurely spending of my time. Our summers are not very long here so we try to make the most of every day and its nice weather. (more…)

At the beginning of May when I sat down to take a look at my blogging goals, one thing that was consistently on my list since ‘like’ forever was writing more consistently. So in May I decided to focus on creating more products instead of simply creating posts. Like so many of us we are all trying to figure this blogging/business thing out. (more…)

My Pinterest journey began as many other stay at home moms did when it first arrived on scene. I would scroll looking for dinners, kid activities and organizational tips for my house. At the time my kids were 5, 3, and 1 roughly. Now they are 9, 7, and 5. Wow! I didn’t realize I have been on Pinterest that long already. It wasn’t until last fall when I switched my account from a personal one to a business one that I started to approach Pinterest from a different angle. I still use it for my own personal idea generations for my home and kids but I also it for my blog. (more…)
