CHRISTMAS JOURNALING CARDS

As a special treat this year I’m sharing some Christmas journaling cards and some extras that I have put together for use in either Project Life or December Daily journaling.  For the first time I began documenting my December last year. I have decided to dedicate one word intention to my December to help ease the swiftness and chaos that usually categorizes the month.  My first word in 2015 was ENJOY, and last year was COZY AND WARM.  This year after some journaling I have decided my word is RECONNECT

I would like to reconnect to family, and friends this year.  Reconnect with traditions and the magical feeling around the whole season. Reconnect with nature and living in a cold wonderland.  I hate the cold! I would rather be nice and snug in my comfy clothes and favourite drink then freezing outside.  Although so far the temperature here has been mild and above zero for the beginning of December.  Very refreshing!  As with anything during this season I believe it about balance.

I would like to document my December but sometimes I find the whole process of documenting time consuming and I often miss out on remembering events.  I have a ton a digital pictures but alas they remain on the computer and are not really enjoyed.  I only began documenting December last year and didn’t do a very good job of it.  Once December gets into full swing I forget to take a few moments to jot everything down.  A part of my strategy this year is to keep my journal right in front of my keyboard where when I sit I see it and can just take a few moments to jot down what I need.

This year I have decided to use the Ali Edwards December Daily Journaling Book.  I like so far that it has space for specific journaling topics plus room to add some pictures and decorate.  It has coils and is a hardcover.  The pages inside have a perforation so you can take pages out if you want.

I think I’m going to use this section as a place to jot down what we did each day.  Last year, If I missed a day and tried to go back and fill it in I couldn’t remember what we had done all the time.  Here I can just jot that down as well a note if I took any pictures.  The clip art I have on this page is from a digital kit I bought off of Etsy from Christy Tomlinson  (*this is not an affiliate link*) I’m just providing it in case you love it.  You will see a lot from her digital kit as there is just so much to in it to create with them.  Bookmark you see is also made from her digital art.

Through the journal there are dashboards with cute little quotes.  At the back of the book there is also 3 pages of stickers not sure how I will be using those just yet.

As I said at the beginning I have also created some of my own Christmas journaling cards that can be printed out on card stock and used in my journaling process.  I have decided to share some of those with you as well.  If you are new to my blog I have been creating my own products for over a year now.  I can’t afford to have 12 days of giveaways (wouldn’t that be awesome someday) but I can provide these little tokens of appreciation.  I have 3 pages of Christmas freebies that you can use for your own personal Christmas journaling projects.  If you do use them I would love to see them in action.  You can share with me on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.  Use the #adalincblog on Instagram or Twitter or make sure to mention me so I will defiantly see it. On Facebook feel free to share to my page.  Nothing makes me feel great like something I created bringing joy to another. I create all my products from purchased clipart.  The intended purpose is only for personal use.

CHRISTMAS JOURNALING CARDS

With these printables I have printed them out on card stock but you could also print them out on sticker paper, especially the washi tape strip. Just click the download button. I have PDF and Studio file for Silhouette Available.

I hope you enjoy the holiday season and I hope you might find these printables useful for journaling about the season.  All I ask is that you share the post with friends and not just links.  I love to create stuff for free but I also need to take care of my family.  I know you understand.
