How often would you say that you check out websites on your mobile phone? If you are like me I am on my phone a lot more than I am sitting in front of my desktop computer. If I’m not on my phone then I’m likely to be on my Ipad. On April 21, 2015 Google is changing the way it ranks pages on mobile devices. They will be boosting the ranking of mobile friendly pages on mobile search results. I have not been worrying about page rankings as I am a small blog but I am trying to learn and grow the blog so I know I will have to pay more attention to this. I am more concerned presently of how my page opens and looks on mobile devices. I know that when I go to a site and I only get a desktop view I am highly annoyed and will leave the site and by the time I return to my desktop I have probably forgotten which site I wanted to view. Even though I am not a big time blogger with oodles of page views I still want my readers to access my content on their mobile devices with ease.
Google has created a quick and easy way for you to test whether or not your site is mobile friendly. Just go to this link and insert your url and click.
