VISME: A NEW CONTENT CREATOR FOR NON-DESIGNERS & TEAMS

*Disclosure: I was provided access to all of Visme features in their premium plan in order to facilitate this review.*

In the fast paced online world of content creation it is best to have as many tools at your disposable as possible.  What attracted me to the Visme app when they approached me was their claim that even non-designers would be able to easily use their apps and become a better visual creator and storyteller.  I don’t have oodles of time to spend learning how to do a lot of the fancy stuff but I do need to learn enough to help me create visual content.  The Visme app can help teachers, or presenters create more engaging content to share.  It can help content marketers with ad creations that make more of an impact and it can help a sole blogger like myself learn how to make more engaging content on different social media platforms.  I will show you how I have used the new Visme app.

You can access some of the content for free to begin with just like most sites nowadays. It is a good way to test things out to see if you like their platform or not.  I began first by watching a series of videos for non-designers (I’m learning as I go) Once you have signed up you will be taken to the dashboard. Choose what you would like to create.  You can begin by choosing one of their templates to get you started or putting in your photos or videos.

In the social media section you can choose to create Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Youtube and Linkedin covers, ads or posts.

Here is a Facebook post I was easily able to create.

I created this email header as well using the Visme app.

One of the other content creation tools available are the templates to create Infographics. With their infographic template selection you can easily choose the style and then customize it to fit your needs.  Their template allowed me to create my very first infographic. See below.

Once you have created your project you can download or publish it a few different ways.

I was able to create this infographic outlining the history of the foundation and share it on my site and with others.

I have only scratched the surface of what this content creation tool can and could do for me. There is a whole section to help with creating video content that I have not explored yet.  More for me to learn.  I am definitely impressed with what I was able to do with the infographic tools.  The more tools in our toolbox the better.  For more info on Visme visit their blog. Do you have content tool that you can’t live without?  I would love to hear about it in the comments.
